Ok, my friend and i have recently learned that we can do really cool things on Halo 2. We decided that we wanted to make a video of the cool things we did, however we need a DVR to record whats showing up on the tv, will it work with TiVo or will i have to break down and buy one of the expensive DVR's that can record video games

To my knowledge, TiVo won't work because you aren't connecting your Xbox through your TiVo. That means there's nothing to record.

A VCR would work, assuming you have a Video Capture card.

You can purchase a TV Capture card for your PC. It is only about $25-$35 dollars at many computer stores or Ebay. Then you can set it up to record from whatever is playing on your TV. Hope this helps.
