It is definately a swear word. I'm through and through British and when i was young my nan spacked my back side for saying bloody hell. Though it is very tame i think compared to the rest now. Cathy xx

I think they are from england or some location near there. That is regular to them. And they say it for the same reason Canadians say "EH!" (Did you know that was a canadian thing?) It is part of their cultural slang.
Americans have thier thing too!

I think of a cave covered in blood and blood dripping on from everything and fire coming from far inside it. Maybe the people who say bloody hell think saying Eh is stupid.....
