no it just confuses ur sleeping habits and the cats sleeping habits until u both readjust.

Generally NOPE! it only save the time you need to turn on you lights in your homes and offices.

No..it has something to do w/ the rotation of the sun && how the summertime starts in the southern hemisphere && winter starts in the northern hemisphere. Go Google it. :)
