Some women get cramps, but sometimes that doesn't happen. It really depends. Actually, daughters are a lot like their mothers in what happens to them, so if you can ask, or state your concerns it might help. However, I know how hard it is to ask -- I remember not wanting to ask about certain things. I read a lot of books. Here are a couple of sites for you to look at, if you really don't think you can talk to an adult friend, relative or parent right now. Relax.... it's not bad. Really. And, it's a sign that you are on your way to adulthood!

Well, it really varies from person to person.

When I first got my period when I was your age I didn't have any warning at all--I just woke up and there was blood.

But what happens now? A few things:

- About a week before, I start getting crankier (hormones)
- Feeling more tired
- Headaches before/during period
- Cramps (they feel like muscle pains in your lower back or lower abdomen)
- Vaginal discharge that is different than normal

If you look up more information on periods or PMS online it may help you. I will also provide a source link for you.

i'd say that you may want to challenge about being pregnant each and each and every time you've unprotected sex, yet do not challenge too a lot because you'll finally end up making your self sick. You took the morning after pill, so there's a good chance that you will be secure. certainly, i have not in any respect experienced that in the previous, yet from what i have study and heard from persons, you may want to continually placed on protection. i'm not likely to go on and on about that because i imagine you comprehend that. in any case, you should be very well. The cramps are there so as it really is in all likelihood a good indicator that your era is on the way. desire this helps reassure you a touch! :)

Every woman who I've talked to and has remembered has told me she was surprised the day it happened. The "signs" begin about 2 years earlier, with annoying discharge. If you've been having discharge for that long, then it could be any day.

You might have a stomache ache, but girls who have had that happen don't seem to think about it until after their period comes. It's easy to obsess about it when you're 12. Sorry.

well everyone is a little different. YOu may feel more agitated than usual...cranky, you may get a headache and your tummy's probably going to cramp. Your breast may also get sore. If you need anything for cramps you can take a midol..or a type of tylenol. If your cramps are really horrible, you can go to the doctor and they can give you medicine to make them feel better.

You may get cramps, but seriously, I would go ask your mom about this. I have a daughter going through the same stage, and I really appreciate it when she comes to talk to me about anything. I hope you can do the same with your mom.

Sometimes you can get cramps before your cycle starts. Usually you won't know what to expect, since you have never experienced them before. You will probably get really bad cramps the day you start mentrating. You should ask your mom how old she was when she first got her period, sometimes it carries down to kids.

Believe me, when you get your period you will know! Just be prepared!

Good luck!
