You're suffering from stress and anxiety. You could actually pull this one with your boss and not be lying. Walk into your bosses office, tell him you're going crazy, need some time off. Crying would hurt either.

Yeah I am a little confused here. You want us to help you come up with a good lie for taking a week off from work? Some of this would all depend on how old you are and where you work. If you are too convincing you might need a doctor's note to return to work or to prove you were out sick. Good luck with that one.

Listen: don't lie. You will get caught, and don't fool yourself into thinking that you won't. Most companies require a doctor's note for over a week of illness. WHEN you get caught, you will be fired and never trusted again. Do NOT do it.
Seriously, even if it's just a back injury or something, you'll still need a note from the doctor to explain your absence. Did your grandma die? Yeah, you'll need to prove that too.

Won't your boss want a doctors note for missing a week of work? If not just say that you have a bad flu. Throwing up,fever,chills etc....

quit and you can take as much time off as you want. Or continue being the lousy, undedicated employee that you already are, and maybe you'll get fired. Then you can collect unemployment along with your bum friends.
