I just got him from the shelter and they said he was a 3 month old Jack Russell Mix, but I was wondering what he was mixed with....? Any educated ideas?

beagle or dachshund mixed with Jack Russel.
The ears alone in the first pic screamed beagle to me.
Whatever he is he sure is a cutie!!

Most definitely a Jack Russell/Beagle. What a cutie, but could be a challenging personality. Even if you have experience owning dogs in the past, I highly recommend puppy school!

He is mostly Jack Russell cross with a Beagle (looking at the ears)

Rat terrier, beagle, and Jack Russell would be my guess, based on his markings. What a little cutie pie!

that's hard...he does kind of look like a jack russel, but he has the ears of a beagle, and the body of a daschund kinda, so it's hard..
