I know just how you feel, because all of my dogs are just like my children, but nothing is put here on Earth to live forever, and continue to love and cherish the time you have remaining with him.We as humans don't have a promise of tomorrow.Would suggest you take one day at a time and enjoy,as time is a precious thing and too important to waste on worrying about what tomorrow may bring.

When your old friend is ready to go, don't be too selfish and try to keep him alive at any cost. There comes a time when the dog is just sick and tired of being sick and tired. They want to go to the big dog house in the sky. You've done everything right by this dog and he will never forget you. Let him go with dignity.

Honey, sooner or later your dog will stop having fun, and he will have to go.

What you can do is love and enjoy him while he's alive. And let afterwards take care of itself. Perhaps you can plant a tree for him.

If animals in general didn't die then we would be flooded with animals and that wouldn't be a good thing.Death is natural and when it comes it comes there is nothing you can do about it.Just love your dog more than ever and spend everyday with him like it is his last.

well... dont feed ur dog human food..only dog food and take him to the vet to make sure hes healthy...if hes healthy and he runs around alot and does alot of outdoor activities he will live really long!!...my dog didnt die till she was 16 in human years!!

i know it would be hard to let go but things dont last forever [except some forms of mech music long story] but you going to learn to let go sunner or later if you want him to live that badly go talke long walks [it could add 2 years 2 his life] so there .

i know how that feels. but just think about it. if u feel that your dog has had the best possible life u could provide him, them he's satisfied and feels like he can die peacefully. but if not, then make his last days on earth as best and comfortable as possible to let him know u care.
