There is no legal limit on how many times you can join the military. However, if you try to re-enlist for a third time from civilian life, they will scrutinize your record very carefully, no matter how badly they need your MOS/job specialty.

If you were dumb enough to leave the military 2 times, then please be smart enough to stay out. When you think about going in you will loose something, time and grade.. or just the willingness to play the game, and if you have been in twice.. then you know the game I am talking about. Once you find your own mind and begin to have an opinion about things it is very hard to go back. Good luck to you soldier...
I served from 90-97

It depends on a few factors.
One is how long have you been out.
If it is over 10 years you have to go back to bootcamp.
If you are over the age of 32 I believe you are barred from reinlisting.
If you are a single parent you will have to turn over custody of your child to an ex-spouse or family member.
I am pretty sure that twice is the limit.

A. What is your RE code?
B. What was your specialty?
C. Is that specialty in demand?
D. Are you willing to RE into a needed specialty? EOD and other specialties are greatly needed and carry a higher RE bonus as well.
Also forgot, USAF rarely takes RE's and since they met their recruiting quotas thay are not as needed as the Army and Marines

The only 3 things that would bar you would be:
1) advancing age.
2) acquiring a criminal record since last discharge.
3) dishonorable discharge
Other wise i can't see why they wouldn't want an already trained person back; it saves them money.

As long as you meet all eligibility requirements I would imagine they would welcome you. There may be penalties like loss of time in grade, or maybe even a stripe but as far as I know things that are negotiable to a point.

You are a known entity to the armed forces. For you to clear muster should be a walk in the park!

as long as your adjusted age us below the limit, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to join the army.
