Great question!
My money is on Macgyver.
He always managed to come out on top , no matter what.
I've watched enough Mythbusters to know that while those folks are pretty crafty, they do fail, often.
Mr. Wizard would be too busy mixing a stink bomb to be really competitive.
Beakman would be too busy explaining every step of the building process to ever finish his bot in time for the contest.
Pair up Stephen Hawking with Macgyver and they could solve world hunger, create peace in our time and get the girl, but thats a different story.

I would have to go with macgyver on this one, not because his award winning book, 10001 ways to use duct tape, but more importantly, he can build a car out of the funnest items....and odds are good, the mythbusters would probably blow themselves up in a nasty episode, causing Mr Wizard to have a heart attack.
