Of course you should talk to her! She needs to know everything about you if she is going to help you. First, though, why are you watching scary movies if you know you will be afraid? That is not helpful to you at all! There is more to this than just the scary movie, there is something else inside you that makes you cry, and worry. You may have anxiety disorder. Ask your therapist about that. Tell her everything, that's why she is there. Good Luck!

I'd talk to your parents if I were you. Share with them your feelings and tell them they're genuine. They're not getting paid to listen, and they actually love you, so really it's the best thing. That's what they're there for-- make them do their job! Besides, if there are real life problems YOU are dealing with, they're they only ones who are there by your side all the way through life. They can guide and help and protect you-- and what's more, is they probably would jump for the opportunity. I'd give them a chance.
Your parents may believe you, they may be jealous of your attention to the counselor. Also they may not like the counselor's methods of dealing with the situation. Don't think that your parents don't believe you. They may have just been through the same thing as a child and may be looking at it as something "trivial" forgetting how big a deal it was when they were younger. Sometimes when we become adults we forget that our problems as children/young adults are just as real and valid and scary and what-have-you as they are as adults. That's my advice to you though. I'm sure your parents love you and want to help.

That is what she is there for. Talk to her. Sometimes hearing yourself explain what you are thinking is all you need to see if it makes sense or not.
