You have to get all the dirt and grease thats in the pores to start with, or you'll be wasting your time.. get an exfoliating sponge,, they used to be called buffpuff, and scrub your nose twice a day with a facial wash.. doesn't matter which. This will clear all the dead skin and the hardened top layer of gunk in the pores.. then after a week, get a shower, and when you are still warm, get a magnifying mirror, and a blunt knife, and drag the knife along the nose, and see all the blackheads pop out.. and after that, its a matter of keeping your skin clean all the time, to make sure you don;t get that build up again.. something like clearasil lotion, or the impregnated pads.. keep them with you at all times, and clean your nose and other problem areas every couple of hours

There's no easy way to reduce enlarged pores other than using egg white masks and alcohol/astringent or toner, (and ice cubes) to help temporarily reduce its size.
However, there's one product you can try (nope, I didn't see this on TV but it worked in clinical trials). Do a search on "peptide for skin". It is the very serum that plumps up lips that can plump up skin so your "pits" will re-grow. Skin re-grows to its optimal "baby-skin" so even enlarged pores will seem to be rid.
I've asked a question about this product before, but NO ONE on Yahoo knows or even heard of it! What's so miraculous about the product is it works on wrinkles as well. Do your research or ask your pharmacist.

i am a professional cosmetologist of 30yrs, the best thing to close your pores is a good astringent such as witch hazel , yuo can buy at any drug store and also rinse your skin with cold water, preferably ice or ice water.
