Hi Felisha

Here are the answers you need. Be sure also to do a colon and liver cleanse.

Cause
Psoriasis is metabolic in nature and can be triggered by environmental or stressful conditions, poor diet, flu-like conditions, the administration of penicillin, and nutritional deficiencies. Patients with psoriasis are also a higher risk of rheumatoid diseases.

Psoriasis can be caused by food allergies, essential fatty acid deficiencies, low digestive enzyme and hydrochloric acid levels, vitamin B complex deficiencies, emotional stress, illness, drugs (such as beta-blockers, lithium, and chloroquine), poison ivy or oak, skin damage, and several infections, bacterial or viral in origin.

Natural Cures

Aromatherapy: The following essential oils are recommended: bergamot (to help heal skin plaques), lavender (to reduce excessive itching), melissa (for irritated skin), jasmine (for dry sensitive skin), geranium (for dry irritating skin), and sandalwood mysore (for dehydrated, inflamed, and sensitive skin).

Diet: Screen for and eliminate all foods to which you are allergic or sensitive. Eat a varied diet of organic, whole foods, rotating foods as much as possible. Eliminate wheat and wheat products for 1-3 months. Consume seafood high in omega-3 fatty acids, such as wild salmon, sardines, mackerel, herring, and each day, on a rotating basis, take one tablespoon of olive or flaxseed oil, and be sure to drink plenty of pure, filtered water. Organic beef, venison, poultry, garlic, onions, parsley, organic plain yogurt, and sauerkraut are also recommended.

Flower Essences: Rescue Remedy Cream® applied topically can soothe symptoms.

Herbs: Combine equal parts of burdock, sarsaparilla, and cleavers tinctures and take one teaspoon three times a day. Silymarin (milk thistle) is also helpful for psoriasis due to its positive effects on liver function.

Homeopathy: Useful homeopathic remedies include Psorinum, Sulfur, Graphites, Cuprum met., and Arsen alb.

Hydrotherapy: Hydrotherapy is the application of water, ice, steam and hot and cold temperatures to maintain and restore health. Treatments include full body immersion, steam baths, saunas, sitz baths, colonic irrigation and the application of hot and/or cold compresses. Hydrotherapy is effective for treating a wide range of conditions and can easily be used in the home as part of a self-care program. Many Naturopathic Physicians, Physical Therapists and Day Spas use Hydrotherapy as part of treatment. I suggest several at-home hydrotherapy treatments.
*Purified water is essential for any hydrotherapy treatment. Remedies for Treating Chlorinated Bath Water offers clear instructions and recommendations.

Juice Therapy: The following juice combinations can be helpful: apple and carrot; beet, cucumber, and grape; and beet, carrot, burdock, yellowdock and garlic.

Lifestyle: Mild cases of psoriasis may be helped by daily exposure to sunlight. Frequent exercise is also recommended.

Nutritional Supplementation: The following nutrients can be helpful: evening primrose oil, omega-3 essential fatty acids, vitamin A, vitamin B Complex, vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, vitamin C with bioflavonoids, folic acid, lecithin, zinc, and a multimineral supplement. Taking hydrochloric acid (HCL) with each meal can also be of use.

In Europe fumaric acid treatment in the form of fumaric acid tablets, ointment, lotion, and scalp lotions is widely used to reverse symptoms of psoriasis

Topical Treatment: Apply seawater to the affected skin several times daily. Linseed or avocado oil, aloe vera gel, and/or capsaicin cream applied topically can reduce the scaling, thickness, redness, and itching.

Alternative Professional Care
If your symptoms persist despite the above measures, seek the help of a qualified health professional. The following professional care therapies have all been shown to be useful for treating psoriasis: Acupuncture, Biofeedback Training, Bodywork, Chelation Therapy, Detoxification Therapy, Environmental Medicine, Guided Imagery, Hypnotherapy, Light Therapy, Magnetic Field Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine, Orthomolecular Medicine, Osteopathy, Oxygen Therapy, Reflexology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Best of health to you.

Cheers

I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.

I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.

And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.

And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/Treatmentspsoriasis2015hWBQ everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

I am going thru this myself and this seems to be the only thing that is helping:

I take a multivitamin, vitamin C, and Omega 3/6 fish oil tabs, 1200 mg.

Also, get into the sun as much as possible, and, failing that, go to a tanning spa. The ultraviolets help kill the psoriasis.

Please understand, this may also not help you. Psoriasis is such an individual malady; that is why there is as yet no cure.

By the way, do you smoke or have you been around smokers most of your life? I am doing a statistical study and would like to include your responses with those of others. See my profile and add a comment on one of the questions, if you would please.

I don't suffer from psoriasis myself but i work for a great New Zealand company see it @ http://www.beewild.com and we make and sell a wonderful product called Apis Mellifera skincare cream, it is a totally non steriod approach to eczema/psoriasis relief and the 2 special ingredients are derived directly from the bee hive. Believe me i deal with all the happy customers so i know that it really does work and best of all your not having to expose your body to all the nasties that come with some other creams. You know that because you also may have to deal with this skin disorder for the rest of your life the more natural the product you can use to cure the complaint the better, i strongly recommend you check out our website.

If you go to your local walgreens and even walmart, they have a shampoo designed for people with psoriasis. I don't know where the skin irritation is, but I have been told the shampoo helps. My sister uses it. Also my ex-roommate was telling me about her 'dandruff' and how her scalp always itched and I went and bought it for her. She said it started to help after a while, but she didn't actually stick with it. I want to say its actually called psoriasis, but I think I may be wrong. It has a pink side.

I have a friend with psoriasis who used a green clay/tea tree oil handmade soap who said the soap made wonderful improvements. I'd try this, now someone who sells it can't tell you it's good for this purpose, exactly...but it should help. Good luck.

Hi,
I have it myself and what helps me is applying a liberal amount of Pantene hair conditioner on affected area. Leave it on and rub it in gently for several minutes. I also use a loofa to GENTLY scrub away the excess skin cells. I do this during a shower. Afterwards, apply Johnson Baby oil gel. It's no cure but it lessens the aggravation of the built up skin cells, especially in winter.

i have psoriasis, so far it's on my one foot.
dermatologist gave me prescription for a cream called apexicon e 0.05%. used for awhile. then he gave me a shot, and still used the apexicon e. it cleared up pretty good.but my heel wouldn't clear up so he gave me some samples for taclonex ointment. it appears to be working better then the apexicon e so far. but i do know my psoriasis is mild case, so far. but i would say if you haven't seen a dermatologist , have your family doctor recommend one and go.
