i would prefer a land tour. on a sea cruise you can see only so much but on land you have the chance to walk, explore, visit places and so forth. a land tour is more educational, as well as more fascinating in the sense that you can visit museums, the main attractions, take pictures as well as see things that people only talk about. sea cruises are good for those who just want to enjoy themselves and not travel form place to place or walk 10-15 miles in a day's worth since there is much more to see on land than meets the eye.

I like land tours better because after a while, the cruise thing gets old.

Both have its own charm. I prefer land tour as I will be getting a lot of opportunities to meet,chat,mingle with various cultures which may not be possible to such an extent in cruise tour
