Impossible to answer. But recently, Jack Johnson's "3 R's" and "With My Own Two Hands" (with Ben Harper) gave me a much need kick in the attitude. Two of my favorite artists, but I hadn't heard those particular songs until I went to see Curious George. Over all though, I think that John Lennon had a major impact on how I view the world.

Aerosmith's Amazing. I heard this song a few weeks after my ex and I split up for the last time. The chorus got me.
" It's amazing in the blink of an eye you finally see the light
It's amazing when the moment arrives that you know you'll be alright.
It's amaaaaaaaaaaaazing and I'm saying a prayer for the desperate heart tonight.

You got one last chance permanent Vacation, and how high can ya fly on broken wings?
Lifes a journey not a destination, and you just never know just what tomorrow brings.

As goofy as it sounds I think this song may have saved my life

When Burton Cummings performed his new solo on the Music Awards wearing a tux with tails and looking good, because of the
weight he lost for a movie where he did a nude scene, and sang
"Stand Tall" and got a standing ovation from his music peers. It
was so good and the words just touched my heart strings and pulled some tears from my eyes and I went out the next day and
got the Album. He was the best Male Vocalist Ever.

I've used hammers made out of wood.
I have played games with pieces and rules.
I undeciphered tricks at the bar.
But now you're gone. I haven't figured out why.
I've come up with riddles and jokes about war.
I figured out numbers and what they're for.
I've understood feelings and I've understood words but how could you be taken away?
And wherever you've gone and wherever we might go.
It don't seem fair. Today just disappeared.
Your lights reflected now. Reflected from afar.
We were but stones. Your light made us stars.

With heavy breath awakened regrets.
Back pages and days alone that could have been spent together but we were miles apart.
Every inch between us becomes light years now.
No time to be void or save up on life.
Oh, you got to spend it all.

And wherever you've gone and wherever we might go.
It don't seem fair. You seam to like it here.
Your lights reflected now. Reflected from afar.
We were but stones. Your light made us stars.

And wherever you've gone and wherever we might go.
It don't seem fair. Today just disappeared.
Your lights reflected now. Reflected from afar.
We were by stones. Your light made us stars.

I have many but one that comes to mind in 'Freshmen" by the Verve Pipe

It reminds the of High school and the crap we had to go through with deaths of friends, and adults looking down on us, and as much as we thought we knew and felt ...we never knew how hard to really could be.....
