For sure, they should cry if that is the feeling they have at that time. Crying doesn't make a man less than a man because he cries. To me is the contrary, if a man cries in from of me, it shows that he is showing his through emotions.
This thing about a man crying makes him look weak was something that people thought years ago. Not now.
What people forget is that a man is just like a woman, he can cry, he can laugh, he can hurt, he can feel alone, and feel all of the things women feel. The man that says that he never cries, to me, is a man that holds everything inside of him, but for sure, one day things will come out but in a bad way.
I admire a man that can cry, to me that is truly a man, he is secure of himself enough to show his feelings.
I still don't understand that silly notion, that a man is not a man if he cries. So men go ahead and cry, you need an outlet to let anger and or pain get out of your system.
When my man cries I console him, and listen to him, that makes both of us feel better at the end.

Yes a man should be able to cry in front of his wife or girlfriend. Nothing wrong with men crying. I would comfort him and let him know everything would be okay...

Yes, a man should. For many many years, my husband wouldn't allow me to see him cry because it was ingrained from his step father that men do not cry, but then again, Mark had never been as close to someone (not even in his own family) as the two of us are. I mean, we do almost evreything together, and he learned that I would not let him go off by himself and cry. It is a habit I have helped him get over, and it has brought us even closer.

Definitely! To paraphrase that old song, "It's all right to cry. Crying gets the sad out of you." The few times I have seen my hubby cry I cried too if I wasn't already. A good hug helps, too.

It takes more of a man to cry then to hold it back. I wouldn't mind if my man (if I had one) cried in front of me. I think it's ok.

I've seen a lot of grown men cry, men have emotions just like women, the wife or gf should feel his pain with him.

yes he can cry, its not women that say they shouldn;t. Its mans sense of machismo and there upbringing that prevents them from crying when they feel like it. You know its not a man thing to do. If my man cried I would hug him, or listen if he wanted to talk.

Yes men should be able to cry. And if they do then try to console them by talking or just being there for them.

Yes a man should be free enough with his emotions with his significant other to express his feelings. It's a sign that he is open in his relationship.

Yes a man should be able to cry. I would be silent, hug him, rub his back, just hold him.
