You can leave it in if you are comfortable, but when delivery most doctors will make you remove it and any other jewelry in case there is a need for a c-section.

They make jewelry called PTFE get one and wear that, it will flex with your body as it grows and changes, that will enable you to leave the pirercing in while going through your pregnancy. It is advisable however to remove the piercing before entering the delivery room just in case, but put it back in afterward and you wont loose the piercing.

I would. You're gonna be stretching a lot there and it could cause it to become infected. Or maybe try putting in a plain circular hoop, that way your belly will stretch around it. I wouldn't leave a bar-type piercing in, though.

You won't have to worry about it because the bigger you get in your pregnancy, your stomach will be too stretched to hold a belly piercing so you might as well enjoy the piercing as long as possible. Also check with your doctor too, just to be safe.

I think it would be a good idea to remove it. Most belly buttons actually pop out and it might tear. Pregnancy isn't a good time to be vain.

A belly ring goes through the skin and fat/a little muscle. It does not go anywhere near your uterus and that is the part what the baby is lying in so now what?

i took mine out during my first pregnancy, but have since learnt that you can by bars that are longer and designed for pregnancy. my piecing has since healed up, but to be honest, unless you are a fitness freak and plan to spend hours toning your stomach again afterwards - I'm afraid to say your stomach probably wont be as it was pre pregnacy!

all the best x
