my car was legally parked on a side street outside a house I was in. this took place in michigan. the police were chasing a suspect in a stolen vehicle, the suspect hit my vehicle causing my vehicle to hit an other vehicle. my vehicle sustained extensive damage to the rear, front and to the frame. my vehicle is totalled. I have full coverage auto insurance i Michigan.

his insurance is responsible for paying for the parked car
if he has no insurance? your insurance will have to pay for it

There should be a police report of the crash itself that will need to be submitted to your insurance and most likely to the State of Michigan. Your insurance company/lawyer could pursue civil litigation against the idiot who was running, but your chances are somewhere between "slim" and "none." (I'm pretty sure he has no insurance and probably no money.) Sadly, your insurance company and you will most likely be aborbing this one.

The police will make him responsible..the fines he pays will go to any damage done..
