There are so many places to go...so many different things to see and experience you can not label any one place "the best". Recently I traveled to Thailand. There were very beautiful islands which they actually filmed part of the James Bond movies there, everything is very cheap from hotels starting at 15 dollars a night to taxi rides that will give you a ride from one city to the next for about 30 dollars. I also remember my first time visiting Disneyworld in Florida. As soon as you walk in the gates you feel like 20 years just fell off of you and your a kid again. There is no other way to explain it. No matter where you go or what you do, you control how much fun your going to have and how many memories you will bring back with you.

Mt. Mitaki, Japan
I went there on my R&R from Korea back in the 50's and it was like heaven to me. The view of the entire area was so panoramicly beautiful, so clean and up-kept it was unreal. The people were so friendly and kind, and the food was nothing else but perfect and delicious. Only place I have ever been where peace and quiet was so perfect. I only wish I could afford to go back there today. When I got back to Korea, my buddy asked me how my R&R was. My only comment was... "I just left Heaven and now I'm back in Hell".

Alaska! It was so beautiful! The sights are amazing! The glaciers are beautiful! We took a walking tour through one town with a "Lady of the Night" who took us all around and showed us the old "night houses" and took us to the Red Dog Saloon. She was awesome. There was a lumberjack show, and a whale watching excursion. But mostly just the scenery. It was truly breathtaking!

I went to New York City. My only regret is that I didn't stay long. I was with a tour group and we were only in the city for a couple of hours.
