When you buy a loaf of bread the two ends, one at the very bottom of the bag and the one at the very top of the loaf, what do you do with them? Do you reach past the top piece until you use all of the rest of the bread and then just let them sit together and then eat them on toast or something?

What do you do with the ends of the bread?

fish/rabbit/pigeon food
stress ball alternatives
shoulder/bra pads? :P
just give it to the minority of people who love eating loaf ends :)

the place do you get your education approximately maximum individuals discarding the ends of the bread? i will see a breakfast eating place that makes a great number of toast having extra ends than they could use for different purposes. At domicile I continually use the ends. I never seen no longer making use of them. turning out to be up my mom used to cover the leads to our sandwich lunch by way of dealing with the crust in the direction of the interior the sandwich. each and every eating place I easily have ever worked for could use the ends for croutons, bread crumbs, stuffing and the rest shall we expect of of. i could desire to furnish a rebuttal to the somewhat some different solutions. The ends and crust of maximum bread are not from now on or much less nutritious than the the remainder of the loaf. photograph a loaf formerly this is baked. the midsection of the dough is the comparable as a results of fact the ends. as a result the foodstuff is the comparable. If something is diverse the crust could be slightly much less nutritious as a results of fact it reaches greater temperatures throughout the time of baking that can injury some nutrition. the only exception is that the tops of a few breads are brushed with egg whites to make a extra crisp crust. The crusts of those breads could have extra protein than the the remainder of the loaf.

.I use the top one to sit on top of the loaf as I eat the inner slices, in the hopes that it keeps the loaf fresh longer... When the two end slices are touching, I either eat them, or toast them or throw them to the birds
Most often, I make my own bread, then I eat them for sure

Living alone I can't eat a large loaf of bread by myself so I either throw part of it away or feed it to the birds. If it's close to a holiday I use it up in a dressing for a bird.

I just reach over the front piece until the bread is gone. When all that I've got left are the two end pieces, I usually throw them out. I rarely eat them.

Eat them, of course. It's the same as the rest of the bread.

I save them all - and the ones from the cafe where I work - and feed them to my birds. They have gotten so used to the bread leftovers that if I run out I have to feed them good bread till i get more.

I reach down below the first piece, and make my toast or sandwich. I end up throwing them away.Or throwing them out for the birds to munch on.

I eat them. I've found they can be the best pieces to use for French Toast.
