To some extent, perhaps.
But just as in the real world, if the differences are too significant the bridges will never be built.
In the end it isn't about getting along, it's about asking or answering. Anything else is just a bonus.

I believe for the most part it can be, but some insist upon being the Powers that be, and that is highly over rated.

For the most part yes, However there are always a few who enjoy testing the boundaries and limits of the community guidelines, others who feel they are the police of yahoo answers.

Well you've go the religious zealots and the athiests who don'tget along.
The Bush supporters and the rest of the world. Politics and religion are the two areasthat causethe most comotion.

i think everybody gets along in most of the sections...other then Religion …its like a words war there..:)..but i think we're a big happy family here...

believe its what we allow it to be, it does amaze me when i pick up on some being jealous of others and petty stuff, think there are some there self worth is never ending, there here to get there ego's stroked
