Yes I agree. When I'm feeling melancholy it's a good feeling that takes me back to other times. Not a depressing feeling.

Melancholy is not at all bad. I am a melancholic person and this arouses me to do things like write, draw, listen to music. I ponder on many things and learn from them when I'm in melancholy. I go far with sadness. With all these, melancholy can't be that bad.

Why yes I do, to reminisce and remember those who have past before us. I
have had so many friends and family members who now walk the spirit world. That when I think of them it puts me onto a state of melancholy.

i agree with you. the behavior of grown up children made so often to the parents to melancholy or such situations.
