well i don't have anything against my religion either but i really dislike going to church. i know where i stand in my beliefs and i know God. my mom always wants to start going but... her plans always fall thru though cuz us kids of hers dpnt wanna... but see me and my older sis have gone to church enough in our life to know about our religion but my little sibblings i think reallly need church... and how to help you... ok well can't use "im sick" you can try... "i have a lot of homework" or "i promise i will go next Sunday but please not just today" 9but then that means you'll have to sick to the deal... i don't really know how to get you outta it but you prolly already went anyways i just wanted to see if i could help lol. Good Luck!!

wow....tricky one. How old are you?
Cos it sounds like you are obviously of the age where you have decided that you dont like church. That should also mean that you are of the age where you can sit down like an adult and discuss this issue with your parents.

They are not mind readers and may not realise that you dont like going to church anymore? Go this time and then sit them down at some point and tell them how you are feeling. Explain that it is not fair for them to make you go somewhere you are not happy with - if they are good parents they will be abl to talk it through with you and come up with a good solution TOGETHER. If it doesnt work maybe there is someone else in the family that you can chat to?

You have the right to be your own person. x x

Someone might send you an e-mail that you would show your parents. The e-mail would say . . .

. . .and, then, on the other hand, learning about goodness as a family is what keeps a family from suffering too much when there's tragedy. It's not just the church. It's the chance to be together as a family. (Aren't I evil?)

Remember...Honor father and mother. I am sure they mean well and Your spiritual growth has to start from somewhere. It's all inside of you...peace, love, respect for others...Church is a start.. It may not be the answer to why you really don't want to go but it is a beginning. Start exploring what you really believe in and start asking questions. Though the years...real answers will come..I promise. It's the natural order of things...Thhe world is what you think it is...change your thoughts and change your life...

What's your problem? Just suck it up and go. Who provides you with food, clothes and money? Act as if you appreciate your parents and stop whining . After you move out of your home, don't go to church.

just go, but take a book and put it into the bible. Pretend to be following the sermon and read your stuff.
I did that once, sometimes i played tetris :)
