I tear down old houses and barns. Sell wood to folks wanting old wood to rebuild house. (go figure) I get to keep whatever found. Found a peculiar car with Plymouth on nose which is rounded and headlights behind it. I guess , can't see. A two door hardtop. Large tall wing(?) on back. Car buried mostly in hay. When I described a neighbor offered $2000.00 sight unseen. What is it? I'm not a car person. Lived overseas most of my life as a military dependent.

edit the question, including a link to a photo. post it on yahoo360 or similar. it could be seriously valuable, or a piece of crap. you can place an ad, saying you own it and just want info on it (definately include a photo), on somewhere like http://www.practicalclassics.co.uk/
for free. there are loads of geeks who will i.d. it for you, and probably give you a valuation. there are loads of american veteran cars for sale there.
tailwing suggests late fifties early sixties.

Ok, you have to look under the hood. It's quite possible you have stumbled upon about $150,000 of car. If there is a hemi in there, you have literally found gold. If not, then it's just another wannabe, but could still be a valuble rebuild project.

Sounds like possibly a Plymouth super bird. Plymouth's version of the Dodge Daytona. If it is, don't sell it for a lousy 2 grand. That Bird's worth bucks.

i think before u sell this, even though 2000 is alot of money that u had better get a car man in to tell u exactly what u have. from ur description which is sketchy at best , my husband thinks it could b a fury, cudas didn't have wings,he says. get a car man in to look at it before u loose money u might have.

Is it a Barracuda? I tried to discern the model from your description...but it's hard to say. They had tall spoiler-type wings on the back.

each vehicle has signature designs like the form of the grill or slope of the windshield or length and shape of headlight or the hood. over the years you are able to memorize the quite a few physique forms of tremendously plenty any vehicle, you are able to memorize the engine sizes, years of manufacture, the quite a few variations of that kind produced, even the sounds they make. Any way, it merely takes time. you will get the carry of it.
