I am making pancakes in a few minutes of a skillet over a gas stove, what setting should it be on? Do i put it on medium or high or between? Help me!!

medium to medium-high and you can go as low as medium low.
remember also not to turn your pancakes until you see the little bubbles coming up ...

Medium is the best because if you have it on high your liable to burn your pancakes and low won't cook them. I grew up with a gas stove and I prefer a gas stove over an electric stove any given day of the week. Good luck and I hope you have a wonderful meal!

low tech method, sprinkle a few drops of water on skillet, if the 'dance' for a second, the pan is hot enough. Then lower the heat to medium to cook

a griddle should be at 375 but your using a stove and a gas burner...i would say at med be sure it is hot before place oil on skillet..i using dip a paper towel in oil and wipe it around...if you find it is cooking to hot turn down just below med....i using mess the first one up but i use cast iron skillet......so the first just seasons your pan a little......

An electric griddle is your best bet when making panckes. You can make alot at once and there is a temp guage on it. I make mine at 375 degrees. Good Luck!!
