I always use butter/margerine and seasoned salt. You could always use cheese made into a creamy sauce. You could always also but that packet that they have for broccoli to season it and cook it in the microwave. It is sold in the gravy section of the store where they have those packets of gravy mix and stuff. I found this site also, good luck!! It has a few broccoli recipe ideas.

I love broccoli, but I do not add so much seasoning as to cover the flavor of the broccoli. I put some water in a saute pan let it boil add garlic salt and butter in sparing amounts then I add the broccoli and cook to the desired tenderness...

I grate up a bunch of cheddar cheese (or you can use Velveeta) and stir it into the broccoli while it's hot so it melts. Add a little salt and pepper and serve. My daughter hates broccoli but will eat it with the cheese.

Personally, I like it best with just butter, salt, and pepper. You could also use garlic powder, or onion powder, if you think you'd like that. Cheese sauces are good on broccoli, too.

cheese! various cheeses such as parmesan, asiago, French or German swiss, mozarella, and even the lowly cheddar.
I personally like a bit of Thai dressing sprinkled on top, and if there is none, rock sea salt works.
I know families who routinely dip fresh cut brocolli in little personal bowls of salad dressings of their choice. Line up the raspberry vinaigrettes, peanut chilies, ranch, ceasar peppercorn on the table.
