In the upcoming election? On one hand, the Republicans have a proven record on fighting terrorism (thousands of dead Islamists) and they dont want to abolish the 2nd Amendment (ABW dead), and they cut taxes.
But Democrats on the other hand, want to make decisions that will help make Europe like us more. Help! What should I do?

if your deciding vote is determined by how the EU feels...i cannot help your decision....the EU has a Muslim population that is about to take over...the EU is not the concern....if you decide to vote democratic...know this...1... they will...enact the draft..
2...the will roll back tax cuts that have made this economy strong
3...they will continue to appease the very people who wish to destroy this great nation..
4....they will endeavor to create more social programs so as to keep the welfare state a priority..
5...they will de-capitate the military as Clinton did.

If you are truly looking for help to make a decision on how to vote, the last place you should look is here on Yahoo Answers.
This forum is filled with nothing but hate between One Political Party against the other.
You will never get an unbiased opinion here.
Go do some research on the platforms of all Political Parties and then you should be able to decide.
Which ever Party has what you look for in Government, that is The Party who deserves your vote.

Think about it:
Iraq - have Republicans handled it well? How many lives will be ended? What is the plan?
Fiscal policy - Lower taxes and get record deficits, borrow from China. What will happen if they continue like this?
I believe it is time for a change and fresh ideas. Clinton did a good job lowering the deficit and working with world leaders, why not another Democrat?

Europe?
So, tax cuts during a war, and a philosophy for fiscal responsibility while continuing big government and increasing the federal debt is ok?
Bottomline, it vote for the person, of either party or another party, whose values are the closest to yours.

Remember that popularity is a fast fading friend in the face of adversity. Look at the issues that directly impact your life such as more money in your paycheck from reduced taxes, Small Business growth, Healthy economy and a strong local law enforcement community.
There are those who will argue the Clinton economy was stronger, but it was an ill conceived economic bubble based upon projected net worths of dot com companies vice brick and mortar established companies and start-ups with achievable sales and contributions back into the community.
Violent crimes are down across the US, we have the fearful respect of the terrorists as they cannot operate without impugnity here and abroad plus we have plans to repeal the death tax so your inheritance will go in full value to the loved ones rather than to the USG for dumb pork barrel projects so beloved by guys like Robert Byrd of WV.
Vote Republican and keep your standard of living high.

You should Vote Republican. You seem more fond of their propaganda. By the way what was the expression on your face when you were told that a political party of the United States had any interest in dismantling part of the constitution? Were you laughing? Or Republican?

I think the Republican's record on terrorism is horrible.
If you want to be drafted into the next war, vote Rep. Go ahead, we won't miss you.

I don't think you should vote depending on the party. I suggest you see what the candidates have to say (or what they have done for the country for ones that are re-running) and see which candidates have views that are most similar to yours.
