Yeah, I agree it makes me look slick too. But I'm considering it to be a glow because I love the makeup too much to stop using it because of shine. Try those oil absorbing pads, I like the ones from clean and clear.

Run a brush dipped in Coty Airspun Neutral powder over your face just before you leave the house. It tends to take down some of the "shiny" look of Bare Escentuals and sets your makeup a little better. Looks matte and lovely.

There are a slew of make-ups on the market that are very much like Bare Escentuals. I use EVERDAY MINERALS and they are the same, just a lot cheaper. If you are looking shinny, you may be using the wrong product for your skin type. Some of them create a glow, almost a glitter effect. Powder should not make your skin oily or shinny. put some on the back of your hand and if it shines, it's something in the product.

I use Bare Escentuals and I feel it makes me shiny too sometimes. I just use a compact powder over it when I feel I am shining and that helps!! I haven't used Sheer Cover, but I do love the lightness of B.E.!!!

A lot of my customers didn't like it either so I put them on to Physician's Formula Mineral Wear line.

yes, BE made me shiny too, and broke me out. try www.everydayminerals.com . they have tons of formulas, including matte & semi-matte, and a better color selection than BE. i haven't tried Sheer Cover.

It can look shiny due to the ingredients they use.
puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand that is more matt.
