One of my grandparents has a 1980 Buick Skylark. It's one of those cars has a bench front seat. It used to have a mecanism where the whole couch would move. (Kind of like now adays where you can individually move the seat).

1. What is this mechanism called?
2. Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find one?

Thank you,

Sounds like your talking about Power Seats

You have to change the seat to a power seat which you can usually get at any junk yard.
