Just living in the moment, and enjoying every minute of it?
No, I am not referring to episodes of mental illness. Just being alive... difficult to explain without being happy clappy.

I remember when I did that, I was about 16, my family jooked at me strangely, and asked why i was laughing so hard. I said, no reason whatsoever.

Now, at more than twice that age, I rarely laugh with such unrestrained abandon. Life... oh well, smile.

Yes. with some acquaintance's and a few friends. We were in a restaurant with some acquaintance's and a few friends.Usually when we are out with just friends it tends to be quite rowdy, we always have fun and are heard. This time because of the company we were with its was quiet & hard work. You know the sort of quiet where you can hear what everyone is saying. It was very boring really, my mind was wondering, when i came up with some memories of better nights. One time the same sort of night normal to us, apart from my friend and i were extra giggly for no particular reason. We were falling about laughing every time i looked at her and she at me. this i think brought on my fit of laughter.
Listening to these people was a bit amusing, some quite posh, i dont remember what i heard from a lady but out of the blue i sort of snorted a laugh under my breath and without warning & i could do nothng to stop, i burst out laughing a good painful belly laugh which was uncontrolable getting worse when asked asked why etc, i just couldnt answer, i couldnt look at anyone. I had to go to the bathroom before i threw up, & take a bit of time to stop this, even what i seen in the mirror made me laugh. It took a while but when calm i went back to the table. As soon as i got to the door & all eyes were on me i started again, i did control it a lot better that time & wow it was one of those rare belly laughs that end up hurting, but it felt so good.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I was in my first meeting as Regional Manager at my job and while they were introducing me i just burst out in this loud uncontrollable laugh!! The only explanation I had for them was how happy I was for the opportunity to work with such great people!!! I'm still being called Laugh a Lot (that damn care bear) because of it!!

Hi >
Indeed I have many a time wandered into a fit of giggles.
A good observation on your part, I am sure.
No alcohol of other silly funny inducing stuff required.
How about buying a statuete for our splendid English teacher at primary school, which was immediatley knocked off the table, and the head rolled out of the door ?
Laugh. I could not stop.
Harmless humour, so why not ?

Have a laugh tomorrow. It cheers the soul.

Bob.

you laugh consciously for no reason but really you were subconciously reminded of something funny in the past but you dont remember exactly when or where. That has happened to me before a couple times. No it is not a mental problem. No no. Rest assured. :-)

Yes all the time, usually in the most inappropriate places like the doctors waiting room or in a church at funerals or half way through wedding vows, I think its a bit of a stress thing with me as I get really panicky in quiet situations.

I don't think it is for no reason at all, it is like something funny runs across my brain and I just start laughing. Sometimes it is embrassing when you are at a stop sign and someone happens to look your way and you are just bust a gut. I know what you mean life is fun isn't it.

Quite frequently.
The worst case was the other day when I was buying a sink plunger. The whole experience just struck me as very strange.

laughing to myself about absolutely nothing is my favourite thing to do. and the more i laugh at nothing, the more i laugh at everything! you only live once. i'd rather have a short, happy life than a long, boring life, woyying about what people think. Laugh to your heart's content girl!

I have laughed out loud with no one by me but usually it's because I thought of something funny that happened in the past.
