i would be rogue from the X-men. but the way she was in x-treme x-men (when she could call back and use the powers of everyone she had touched)

I'm caught between Storm and Ms Marvel ^^
I wouldn't mind controlling the weather, heck I could probably help solve a world of climate change problems (such as drought)
and Ms Marvel...well, I'd really like to fly and have super strength without Rogue's 'no-touch' policy.

All those answers were good, really, but you have to think that everyone of those people named can be killed, or their powers would amount to nothing compared to two of the people I wouldn't mind having the powers of: En Sabah Nur ( Lord Apocalypse), or Onslaught. Wolverine/ yeah great choice; he can heal really fast, but if he losses too much blood or a vital organ, he can die. Jean Grey couldn't kill Onslaught, Electra? No answer. Apocalypse can't die, even without the celestial armor, and he has proven that too many times. Onslaught had to be put in another dimension cause he was killing people without lifting too much of a finger.

Do you mean have their powers or literally BE that character? If the former, Wolverine... healing and living an abnormally long lifespan... that would give the confidence to pursue all of my dreams knowing that I would have time to any others that came along. Being that character? That would have to be Nightcrawler. Agility, suaveness, plus a cool power... BAMF!

Okay, he isn't really a mutant, but he is marvel's most powerfull and greatest hero.
He gained consiousness in the womb and is the most intelligent character in marvel. Such high intelligence and willpower could be a mutation.

I would take Atom Eve's powers. She is a character from Invincible from Image Comics. She can alter the atomic structure of almost everything around her. With that ability, I could repair so many things, like the weakened ozone layer, hurricaine ravaged cities, potholes. you name it I can fix it by changing it's atomic structure.

Maybe Doug from X-men. He could understand any language in the world. Not as glamorous as flying or fireballs, but very practical and useful in today's world.
