sounds like you could be grinding your teeth or biting down really hard on your front teeth so the pressure builds up on your teeth all night and then when you wake up the pressure is started to be relieved and so it starts to hurt again. Kind of like if you put a rubber band around your finger and cut off the circulation and then you take the rubber band off and you kinda feel that slight pressure..it's the same thing only with your teeth.

It sounds like a possible infection. If it continues to increase in severity of pain & frequency then you need to see a dentist for an xray. It's possible you may need a root canal. However, it could also be caused by sinus congestion. If you have a cold with alot of congestion the pressure in your sinuses can be felt by specific teeth. This happens to me when I get a cold. Wait a couple days, if the pain worsens see the dentist.

first, look at your age... if you're under 18, things are constantly moving and shifting... "loose" feelings in teeth are not uncommon during those stages..
second... yes, you may be clenching or grinding at night.
third... check for a white - ish "pimple" on your gums above the area that is loose.. definite sign of an abscess..
you could always ask the hygienist at your next scheduled cleaning!

if you wore braces then is loose and you need retainers, but to be in the safe side you should make an appointment with your dentist to make sure you don't have a gum disease that can damage or loose your teeth if that is the case they'll have to remove them if you don't take care of it.

you probably grind your teeth at night. Look at your teeth and see if the bottom edges of you teeth are even or does it appear to be uneven (not your teeth the bottom of them) if they aren't straight you are a teeth grinder and you need to get a mouth guard most stores sell them.

Nick,
I think it is wise to see your dentist as soon as possible. I don't think you should touch anymore. I believe your just making it worse.
