It became a in basic terms conflict whilst Bush 40-one did desert hurricane. It wasn't properly actually worth the cost of Bush 40 3 stepping into following 9/11. concentration on Afghanistan fallowing 9/11 would have been understood, going after Saddam Hussein became ludicrous.

yes, Saddam was a terrorist supported state, i saw a TV program that filmed his supporters in a hall giving openly $20.000 us dollars to every family that sent one of its family members to blow up Israelis, now maybe they did use the wrong exuse at the time, but there is no doubt that in time, Saddam would have started a new program of weapons, he should have been removed when George bush sen was there, the UN talked him out of it, big mistake, that is what is costing lives now. he had to be punished, the world has turned there backs on to many mass killings time to get tough and consistent, everybody, the un is to weak. the 2 world wars where fought for that reason, were all those lives lost for nothing. if someone was getting bashed in front of you, would you stand by and let it happen, if kids were getting hurt in someones family, or being killed, would you do something or let them do it, it should be the same in country's as in society, guide lines and rules, the world has come a long way, don't let it go backwards, always avoid war but if needs to be done, then lets get it on. i am Aussie

Not at all, ok you got Saddam, what else? you stole all the oil, what else? you knew that the terrorists are not comming from iraq, what else?
And for the one who said "it worths to save the west", just tell me at what second iraq did something to the west u r talking about, and for the one who said "yes cuz iraq was shooting israel" i want to tell you that we are proud if we just hurt someone israeli, why don't u say "no cuz saddam was shooting israel that was killing thousands of palestinians"? ok you got saddam, u didn't plan to kill more than 500,000 iraqis and still counting.
You people that say yes, you really really really need to get at least one day to fell hoe do iraqis feel, how we feel that we are in a prison ot in a country, and the owners of this prison are foreign that we don't even give them up a shoe on their heads cuz we care of the show more than stupid american militarry that are doing the commands to bush as the dogs, doing those commands that tell them "Kill anyone you like, any iraqi you like it's free for you to kill"
and those who said "yes it worths it" they are really idiots has no minds in thier heads that just think one what bush says, not what he does, if u depends on that stupid talks then u r not men, cuz he only say something and do it actually opposite, "We will give iraq the stupid freedom", if we didn't like Saddam and wanted to be free from him, we won't wait for you, STUPID OIL THIEVES.

NO. I was stuck in the middle of the war in Beirut, Lebanon and it was the scariest thing I've ever experienced. Not knowing where to go , where was safe that night , hoping a bomb didnt blow up where you were staying. I learned first hand what the people feel in Iraq on a daily basis. I'm greatful that we don't have it here in america. everyone should feel that also. Plus, what are the soldiers dying for???

Of course not, the war costs 4 billion dollars a month. Do you have any idea how much money that is?
Only the most ignorant Republicans still say it was worth it, and those greedy selfish hypocrites still want their tax cut. Reality is a ***** that way.

Yes, and if you'd turn off Howard Stern and Cindy Sheehan you'd know why. And Shawn, I HAVE served my country and would proudly go wherever my Commander in Chief sends me, right or wrong, without question, and I served for nine years under Bush #1 and the BJ king himself. What about your sorry ***? Oh, and have you seen the price of oil?
