I have a side board that works in Mc D's on a part time basis. Thankfully the shifts allow it to be home most evenings when the family are at home.
The additional income is usefull although the little gold stars that keep appearing on it are a bit of an irritation.
If only our Welsh dresser would get off its A**e and do something to earn it's keep.

It stares with a bitter sadness at the full-time furniture knowing it will never measure up.

Very good. Love your question. I'd like the answer, too, 'cause I can't afford part-time furniture. So far I haven't seen a great answer. Hope you get one
