I went on one to the Isle of Weight and is was bumpy but hella cool. I'm gonna buy one when I'm super rich.

I used to work on the very same Hovercraft service you've been on, back in the early 90's. it was probably one of the most boring jobs I've ever had, going back and forth from Ryde to Southsea twenty times a day. it was no fun either being bumped about all day long, come the end of the day, your legs were like jelly.
Must admit they are fun to begin with though.

Only been on one once - Dover to France - but it was a lot like being in a plane that was crash landing on the sea and this was the early morning after a hectic day getting married and the reception and all and I cannot believe anyone would want to travel like that unless they like fairground rides and being sick

They are fun, the cross Channel trips were awesome. Once I went out to the Goodwin Sands on one.

Noisy and bumpy...yep, i agree with that.
We have some in a field ner us that are used like quad bikes, you might want to try that - it looks really cool.

Boring info for you, they were invented by Sir Christopher Cockerill.
Husband also had a smaller racing one, that was pretty cool!
So you see, you don't need to be super rich to buy one!

good luck being superrich, their not that expensive, but if its so caled "bumpy" your badasss friends need to slow their aass down before you blow the pump or seal, then what will you do?
