After a C-section, is it harder to get your tummy muscles back in shape? I know you have to wait longer for exercise. Is this a myth?

Naturally you don't want to do any strenthening or your muscles until advised by your OB-GYN. C-sections grab ahold of your abdomen and pelvic floor. Although when you are ready here are 3 really good post c-section soothing strengthening excercizes, as with any excercise after c-sections you must be extremely careful.
Do all of these 4-8 times:
1- Lie on your back with your knees bent, feet flat on the floor, legs apart even with your hips. Slowly lift your bottom up, then let down and start over.
2- Lie on your stomach with your palms flat, next to your shoulders. Tuck in your elbows next to your rib cage areaand lift your head and neck off of the floor, but only enough that you don't feel strain in your lower back at the same time suck in your naval area as you would do when lifting your pelvis off the floor.
3- Stand with your feet spread apart about 3-4 feet with your hands places at your side. asalowly extend your arms over your head while bending foward at about a 90 degrees angle but at the same time make sure you keep your back straight.
Hope this helps. Helped me. Good Luck......................
