Probably. But there's nothing you can do about it now, you've already done the best thing you can. Worrying won't help.

My sister-in-law didn't know she was pregnant until she was 6.5 months along and she smoked and drank until then. Her baby was fine. It's all very individual. Just do the best you can from here on out, and you and your baby will be all the better for it.

Best of luck!

Yes, I think you'll be ok. I know I smoked lightly for the first 3 weeks or so because I had no idea! I'm so glad I found out and quit right away though. I would never do anything to hurt my baby.

Congratulations on being pregnant AND quitting smoking!

I am sure your baby is fine and well, and good for you on quitting! There are actually quite a few women out there who continue smoking during their pregnancy. In the end, its best for you and your child that you have quit, because even after the chiild is born, 2nd hand smoke is harmful as well. Good luck and congrats. :)

My mother smoked during her entire pregnancy with me. When I was born I weighed only 4lbs, and had chronic bronchitis until i was 13. I was told at a young age this is a side effect of my mother having smoked during her pregnancy, if you've ever had severe bronchitis, you know its a miserable thing, so its 1000 times worse to get it once or twice a year every year until you are 13.

Most people do not know they are pregnant until they are at least a month along, your baby is fine! And congrats on being pregnant and being able to quit smoking!

babies have been born for decades to women who smoke....many had low birth weight but were otherwise healthy.
The fact that you have quit is excellent, and that you quit as soon as you knew is commendable. You shall likely have a lovely healthy baby before 2007 is over with.
