I am the mother of 5 daughters ages 5,12,13,15 and 16. I had a tubaligation in Dec 2001.I order the paperwork from the doctor who performed the surgery yesterday because for almost two weeks now I have been having pregnancy symptoms. The paperwork stated that the doctor cut both the right and the left fallopian tubes and fulgurated them both. Here I am almost five years later experiencing what feels like a pregnancy. I went to a doctor in the town I live in.I told her my story and I also told her that I have had five successful pregnancies and had three unsucccessful pregnancies. I explained to her the symptoms I am having. All the doctor did was check my breathing and send me for a urine test. Excuse Me!! DId I not just say I think I am pregnant? She did not even do a pelvic exam. The unrine test came back neg. Three days later she sent me to get a HCG Blood test which also came back negative. Listen I even look pregnant and feel like it too. Can anybody help me out with this ? Please

you are not pregnant. it does not really matter what exactly was done to your tubes to sterilize you, all methods have some risk of failure and there is a small chance of becoming pregnant following sterilization and the problem is that it would be likely to be an ectopic pregnancy. luckily for you, you can breathe a sigh of relief because you are not pregnant in your tube or uterus or anywhere else. if the urine pregnancy test is negative and then backed up by blood hcg you are definitely not pregnant. ectopic pregnancies produce hcg like any other pregnancy and hcg is part of the testing done to diagnose an ectopic. as far as not doing a pelvic exam, it is unnecessary in this instance and can even be dangerous in the event of an ectopic pregnancy as it can rupture the ectopic. you may feel pregnant, but thankfully you are not. if you continue to have these unusual symptoms you can see your general medical doctor.

If your blood test says negative it should be nagtive, just calm down and relax. See another doctor if you want to be sure.

identity definitly get one more ultrasound if i had been u as they just double whilst there's a cause to double...in the event that they took the being pregnant from the tube then the phases will have to be the equal an begin lowering no longer growing.. well success
