okay, if a layer of skin outside the lip(the crevice in between the leg and the vagina has a layer of skin gone, so it is raw skin can it get infected, if so, what can I do to prevent an infection?

Peroxide would probably burn like h--l, wash well w/soap&water, keep as dry as possible at all times, air as much as possible-no tight clothing(no panties?), use antibiotic ointment

Any time you have raw skin, it can get infected. You can do a couple of things to avoid infection. I would wash the are thoroughly, rinse it with hydrogen peroxide and then apply some triple antibiotic ointment. The peroxide is an anti-infective and the ointment will prevent the infection as well and speed healing. you could also try one of the "spray on" bandages but with the moisture level normally associated with that area it might not be very effective.

strange question, but yes, you probably could get an infection..I'm just wondering why the skin is gone...to prevent infection, keep it clean..
