My older sister had hers carried out 2 years in the past (pretty a lot 40). All adults face a better complicated time improving from any surgical operation than do toddlers. She also had problems with an infection, besides as sleep apnea. She had this carried out together as they repaired a deviated septum. the first couple of days were no longer pleasant, yet distinctly tolerable. She became again to gardening earlier the top of the week. She sleeps way better suited and has had no infections when you consider that. My different sister is the only last sibling (6 human beings) who nonetheless has her tonsils. not in any respect had a mission after youngsters besides the actual shown reality that she has an same tremendous tonsils as some thing human beings.

Oh the benefits are numerous. My daughter had hers removed at 5 years old. She doesn't get as bad sore throats or as often, she can breathe better and the snoring went away at night. Shes able to swallow alot better and doesn't get near as many allergy-related flare ups in the throat like she used to. It's been a huge relief to her....she also had the adenoids taken out at the same time. Good luck....I'd say have it done if that's what the doctor recommends.

I had mine removed when I was 5 and that was long ago. It helped me alot to breathe, sleep better, get sick less often. If they get swollen they drop mucous in your stomach and can make you sick. I used to wake up nights with no air, it stopped that problem too. Bad tonsils can wake you many time in the night and therefore you feel tired all day. If they are bad and a doc tells you that, get them out. You will feel better.
I have never had a problem with them gone. Both my kids had to have there's out too. Bad tonsils can cause sleep apnea like in one of my kids and this solved that too.

Its all good. I had mine out a few years back and i'll tell ya its great. You sleep better, and breath better for sure. The draw back is when you first get them out for a few weeks you will be sore but believe me it's all worth it.
