and i like him a lot i seem to show a lot of emotion when i'm with him, which is not like me i usually wont ever show and affection twoards my bf's. But with him it's differnt and well. he said he likes me a lot, and i like a lot to.... but i'm to afraid to give him more of me as in emotionally wise, i kno i'm not ready to say those three words but when do u kno????

If you "like" him (which you said 3 or 4 times) why would you tell him that you love him. You didn't say that in your question. A good sign that it's not time is that you said that you're "afraid" to give him more of you emotionally wise. All areas should check out. No doubt.

Only when you feel absolutely sure that he feels the same way and will say it back to you. But I would wait until he says it first. You will never feel "ready" to say it because you'll be nervous. But once you two get over the first "I love you"s then it will be just as common as saying Hi and Bye to each other. Good Luck!!

wait until you're ready, until you know that you really mean them, and then wait a little longer. Don't say it the first time you feel like your ready. if it's not like you, make sure you're ready before you do it. Take your time. If he cares, he'll be patient.
