ok my friend asked him if he would go out with me and everyone was sayiing that we were a good couple and that he liked me.but when she asked him he said he likes me as a friend.but latelyhes been flirting with me ,like yesterday he kept calling me the nickname he gave me and he watched me run on the track in athletics then when i was walking out the locker room and he was walking by and he looked at me and he got in front of me then once we got outside i started running to the buss then he did (we ride different buses)and he started racing me!then he said something but i didnt hear it.the before my friend asked him out for me he was really florting with me whats the matter?does he like me?whats he thinking?

i think he definetly likes u.i think he just told ur frend no because he knew she would tell u and he was scared of that.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

Depends on the age. Beware, some guys like the attention and some may be kewl and really have feelings. IF he doesn't ask you to lunch or call you on the tele w/ in the next two weeks, I'd move on. However, just to make sure, I'd check up on his rep. Is he a "talker" a guy who likes to brag about himself, his sports, endeavors.. or is he a "nice guy"? Use your judgment and your instincts. And uh, don't listen to heresay, people LUV DA DRAMA so be on guard as the ball is in his court, sorta speak.
