tell her you want to start buying your own clothes, asek her for the money go buy what you like... then show them to your mother, if she worries tell her its just underwear and noone will see it, but yourself and just say that you find thongs confortable

just ask her for money (if she doesnt already give you any or if you dont have ur own) and tell her you want to go shopping with one of ur friends, buy them urself and then when it comes time to wash them, do it ur self..
