This was soooooooo blown out of proportion!

There is NOTHING more dangerous about spinach than there is about lettuce!! What happened was a spinach processing plant got a bad batch passed through, somehow, probobly due to animal fecal matter found in the manuer, packaging, or processing areas. Since E-Coli takes such a little amount to cause sickness, this was spread over a lot of fresh spinach passed through this processing plant. This spinach was then shipped all over the US.

But it all came from the same place! It didn't grow the e-coli, it didn't have anything to do with spinach at all... Spinach is just the unlucky vegetable that ended up with some e-coli on it.

I in no way heard of e coil with spinach earlier. somebody would desire to've used too clean of compost! easily spinach would not desire compost! nicely spinach is rather consumer-friendly to strengthen. So in case you easily need spinach why not strengthen it. once you're residing in an Apt. you may strengthen the spinach in a field! replace of Spinach: Beat tops, Dandelion vegetables, brussel sprouts, broccoli! in case you do not eat meat you will would desire to eat some fruit.. tomatos, bananas, apples, papaya. Vegetarians would desire to eat a minimum of two culmination an afternoon

I think when we finally dtermine exactly where and why the e-coli came. Then we can clean up wherever it came from and hopefully we will be able to resume or normal habits.
