It's good to start with cardio just like you are doing. Then you might want to take a couple of minutes to stretch (increases flexibility & helps to avoid injuries). If you go to the gym 3X's a week then go ahead and hit a full body work out targeting all of your large muscle groups. 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps should have you feeling pretty good. Higher repetitions usually leads to a lean, slim look, while lower reps/higher weights looks more bulky. Finish up with some more cardio, or even sprints, if you're up for it. Enjoy

I actually go to a specialised womens gym.

However Id suggest doing a few minutes on an upper body machine, walk on the spot for the same amount of time to keep your heart rate up, then work for the sam amount of time on a lower body machine.
Continue doing that in a repetitive/circular motion.
Do it for no longer than 45minutes.
After working out stretch ur entire body for 10minutes.
Its been proven that stretching after working out increases muscle mass by 19%.
More muscle mass = efficient metabolism = more weight loss and muscle tone
