I liked pop bottles. I liked the sugary liquid inside. I like chewing wax lips too. My favorite was two cent green bubble gum by double bubble...I think! And in a clear wrapper, a yellow gumvall. And chocolate footballs! And candy necklaces. They came out with POP ROCKS when I lived in California in 1975 but it only came to Mississippi where I live now in 1978. It was hard to find for years, but they're back. Unfortunately I'm 41, and could care less! I still eat lemonheads!!!

I like sugar babies, candy necklace, red hots, and jujubes. I see a lot at Mr. Bulky at the malls. I saw some of mine and yours on Amazon. Whalgreens has a good assortment of individual candies, you might want to have a peek. I get my sister's Necco Wafers there.

I remember them. I actually bought pop bottles and wax lips just last month at the Dollar Store, so they are still making them. I loved Red Hots, and those little candy dots on the paper.

Don't know what they were called.......
Maybe somebody from Italy can tell me what they were....
They were kind of a nougat....not unlike bit o honey.
Rectangular shape.
wrapped in wax paper ...apparently to keep it from sticking to small cardboard box.
The small box maybe 1 1/4 x 1 x 1/2.
With a scene painted on it......
I remember one ....painting of a place called TIVOLI .
Only about a week ago I was thinking"where did those wax lips go?"
might find them in novelty store...
another thing made of wax was a small flute....like a pan flute.
But the Italian Candy(if that is where it was from...coulda been from Brooklyn for all I know))....the package impressed me.

Mary Janes were my favorite because I like peanut butter. I also liked kits because they came in 4 different favors. We have a store here in Indianapolis that sells all the candies from long ago.
