to put contacts over contacts in your eye?

cause my mom has non prescription colored contacts and she never wore em so she gave em to me, but i already have contacts that have a prescription

so is it possible to wear my contacts and then the colored contacts on top or would that ruin my eyes?

I don't think it's a really good idea. First of all contacts are fitted to the circumference of ones eye. Secondly, your eyes still have to get air to them when you have in contacts so I don't think it would be very wise to put in to sets of contacts. Plus I think it would be irritating to your eye as well.

Such a bad idea!! If you want colored contacts then talk to your doctor about getting prescription colored contacts. This very likely will cause a pretty serious irritation in your eyes.

No you shouldn't do that. The contact lens are suppose to move some on your eye. They won't be able to if you wear 2 pair. Plus the size of the contact lens is very important. There are different curvatures and diameters of lens. If they don't fit properly you can cause serious damage to your eye.

I wouldn't advise it. You really need only one pair of contacts in at a time. DOn't damage your eyes.
