I've always had a normal period every month since the day they began and they only last around 3-4 days with one day being REALLY bad. This month, I have currently been bleeding for 10 days now and I'm scared as hell!. It started last Sunday but then played around for a couple days and then got to it's really bad point on Wednesday and than again on Thursday (remember I said it's normally only one really bad day). I've still been bleeding ever since but it's very mild and I can't even wear a tampon but it's scary and annoying. I don't hurt anywhere nor do I have cramps but my belly does feel a little bloated. I have a PAP scheduled for Oct 13 but how do I cope until then? I know it could be a number of things that are not harmful and easy to treat but it's easier to think of the bad. I'm 33 years old, married with two kids and I was "fixed" at 25. I had one abnormal PAP about 7 years ago but she recheck me 3 mo later and there's been nothing ever since but it does run in my fam.

Have your thyroid checked.

It is one possibility.

DO go to the Dr.

The same thing happened to me and I wound up losing too much blood and going into convulsions. (It was thyroid related).

I DID THIS WHEN I WENT THROUGH THE CHANGE. WHICH CAN START ANYTIME. CALL YOUR DR. TOMORROW AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY. PLEASE DON'T WORRY. WISHING YOU THE BEST.
