Are you sure you are making love at the right times? Try taking your temperature every morning when yo wake up for a few months. Also if you aren't ovulating for some reason, stress, (being overweight?) illness, started a new exercise program, then you aren't going to get pregnant until you start ovulating again. Have you seen your doctor?

Sometimes trying too hard can be counter productive...try a break from too much intercourse...try and work on your relaxation. If you aren't having periods, it could be because you are feeling under pressure to conceive..namely you could be experiencing high strees levels which can slow and stop your periods. Take a supplement, namely Pregnacare and eat really healthily. Try to avoid alcohol and caffeine and eat as though you are pregnant, by cutting out soft chees, etc. You also buy ovulation kits from Boots etc. they are simple tests you use at home and from a urine sample (i think) they can tell you when you are ovulating and thus when the time is right to have intercourse. If you have too much sex, this can affect the quality of the semen. Above all...TRY not to worry....it will happen when the time is right....

If your periods have stopped or have become less frequent you should discuss this your doctor. There are many reasons for this. The main thing is to check that that you and your husband are healthy. Eat healthy sensible meals. Many women can stop ovulating due to weight loss or even stress. It is important that you both try and relax together. Pregnancy frequently seems to occur when people focus the least on it. So give yourselves a nice treat like a holiday. I wish you both lots of luck.

I know how you feel, I have P.C.O.S
It took me nearly 3 years to fall pregnant with my first child, i thought it would never happen, my periods were always 2-3 late,
But you have to try to relax, know it will happen (bet your sick of hearing that) Dr gave me a perscription called Metformin which helps with Hormone imbalance.
I really, really hope it happens soon, your husband is probably just as anxious, but be there for each other
It will hapen when you least expect it too x
Good Luck to you both

This is something you should really go and speak to your doctor about. there could be a problem with your hormonal increase affecting conception? a simple course of pills to even this out should help? also if you are trying everyday this may be fun but it doesnt help in sperm production but go and see someone who can help both of you out

Is your deficiancy called PCOS? If so I have it. Speak to your doctor, there will have loads of suggestions and you should even be able to get IVF on the NHS as a last resort. Just make sure you push the doctor because you know what our NHS is like, they dont like doing it unless you SHOUT!

Contrary to what the others have said, don't have sex as often. It takes 10 days to get a full head of steam ( maximise) in order to increase your likelyhood of becoming pregnant

why not try the rhythm method, you try just when the egg is being released talk to your doctor about the rhythm method, also you could try IVF, where they implant sperm of ur husbands into your egg, and then implant it in your body, this would make u pregnant, because it may be that your husband has a low sperm count

Another trick is to place a pillow underneath you as this raises you up. I can't remember off the top of my head what this does exactly but it is supposed to help.
