the fact that you have your police report is a great help call them plead your case, and as well as that take the info that you do have down to local INIS office for a face to face meeting as they may well be able to cut some corners for you.

Its a pity you do not have copies of all these papers, would have at least been proof.

Good Luck

You need to get a new birth certificate and passport from your home country. Call your country's embassy in Washington DC, or the local consulate, and they should be able to help you out.

As for your green card, you will need to file a Form I-90 with USCIS for a replacement card. They can take up to 8 months to process, so be prepared to wait. If you don't need it immediately, then just wait out the time for your naturalization. There is no "card cutting" at naturalization ceremonies, so don't worry about that --- if they ask, just tell them it was lost recently and rather than apply for a replacement, you just waited to complete your citizenship process.

Good luck!

Call your local congressman. They have staff that is dedicated to immigration issues and passport problems. All they need is a privacy release form and they will make every effort they can to help you!
Good luck!

you may document the shortcoming of green Card as we talk to INS. that is severe. For a clean passport, you may document it on your consulate or nearest embassy seem them up on the internet. I propose you call. they are going to offer you instructions on what types to apply, etc. and the thank you to re-prepare for a clean passport.
