Ladies and G's....Been married now only for 4 months (as of today). My mom and dad in-law (especially my mom-in-law, God bless her soul) are both asking for grandkids already. I mean we're only 4 months into this thing and we are just trying to recover. I hope this doesnt become a problem later on down the line....Anyone having the same issues?

Give them a time frame... like you're going to try in 2 years or 4 years; or when you get the next job promotion or finish the degree.

I would tell your In-Laws that you want to be responsible meaning that you want to save up some money and get yourselves together before you think about having Children. I think it's a nice way of telling them not right now but also showing responsibility which is a very important attribute in Marriage that your In-Laws shouldn't fault you for. Congrats on your marriage!!!!

i had the same issue when me and my husband were first married. I told them we will have one when we are ready. We just want some of our alone time right know before we have kids. I also told them that money don't grow on tree and we have to save up some money and if they don't like that let them tuff it is your guy life.

Tell them you and your spouse are planning for the baby - preparing for the baby by saving up, making sure you enjoy each other first because having a baby can sometimes tear a marriage apart and you don't want that to happen to your marriage.
